Jon and Frida will appear on the Adventsshow on ZDF (German TV)
at 10.45am CET, November 28th.
The DVD of the recent Cologne concert (October 5th) will be released in Germany on December 13th. Jon and Frida will make an appearance at the Josť Carreras Gala (aired on German TV) as part of the promotion activities.
In related news, Jon will be guesting the "On the Tracks" show on German radio November 28th. He will be in the studio for 2 hrs playing songs of his own choice. Tune in!

The title of Jon's upcoming album is "Beyond the Notes". The release is scheduled for September 20. Confirmed live dates have now been announced and tickets are on sale. Expect more dates to be announced in the near future.

Jon will appear tonight in Trondheim, Norway as a guest to the Trondheim Soloists. His new piece "Disguises" will receive its world premiere here, and Jon will also perform another piece on the piano. The venue is Logen and the concert starts at 7pm. Geroge Harrison's album 'Gone Troppo' from 1982 is set for a CD
re-issue this year. Jon Lord guested on the track titled "Circles".
It looks like Jon's "Concerto for Group and Orchestra" gets another
outing in Austria in September 2004. Jon is even rumoured to take
part in the event, put together by Austrian drummer Bernhard Welz.

Last night Jon Lord was awarded official Ambassador of Hell. This
is Hell, Norway - where Jon is performing two shows over the weekend

Another DVD is in the pipeline. Entitled "Jon Lord - With Pictures",
the DVD documents Jon's recent Australian tour as well as the premiere
of "Boom of the Tingling Strings" down under. The DVD is an online/merchandise

Jon will perform with the Hoochie Coochie Men live on ABC TV February 7 (8.00-9.30 pm AESTD), on the national show "The Fat". Jon will also be interviewed on the show. This all happens prior to the gig at the Sydney Basement the same evening. The concert is also being webcast at 9.30 pm AESTD on February 7.

Jon Lord suffered a mild injury at the last Sydney Opera House performance, which makes playing classical piano almost impossible. Fortunately it doesn't prevent playing Hammond organ, so Jon's remaining Australian solo dates will feature himself with a rock, blues and boogie band. It is official. Jon has retired from Deep Purple. Although sad news, we hope the future holds much in terms of pure Jon Lord music. I can hardly wait. Don Airey has now joined the band. Secondly, I must apologise for the lack of updates recently, but this website will remain the place to go for news related to Jon's solo activities. Even more so in light of recent events.

surgery. This has made it impossible for him to join Deep
Purple on the recent Euro tourdates. Though Don Airey has
done a fine job temping for him, Jon hopes to be back
